Male white-tailed deer, also known as bucks, are characterized by their antlers, which they grow and shed annually. They are typically larger than females (does), with mature bucks weighing between 200-300 pounds. Their coat is reddish-brown in the summer and turns grayish-brown in the winter. Bucks also have a white throat, belly, and the underside of their tail.
